Tales Of A Storyteller - Daphne Coats

$31.99

*REDUCED FROM $49.99*

From 1913 to 2004, George Burnby lived a life full of love, laughter, joy and loss. All mixed with an enormous amount of adventure. Through two World Wars, depressions and wondering where the next meal would come from. A man of the land - driving teams of horses, breaking in new ground. Working on the Kaikoura Rail Line and time in the Mounted Rifles and Air Force. The common threads through it all were rabbits and an accordion - along with a healthy sense of humour and compassion for those around him. Becoming a man of the sea - crayfishing around Fiordland and skippering tourist boats in Milford Sound. At 85 he travelled to Alaska to spend time with gold hunters in the isolated upper tributaries of the Yukon River!
